Dopo un anno di qualifiche, iniziato a Torino, per partecipare alle Olimpiadi di Londra, Ogden era l'ultima chance possibile per aggiudicarsi un posto.
C'erano in palio tre posti per le squadre femminili e tre per le squadre uomini nella giornata di giovedì. Altri posti erano disponibili per gli individuali, 8 donne e 7 uomini, nella giornata di venerdì.

OGDEN - Galiazzo, Frangilli, Nespoli per il bronzo

Il trio dell’Aeronautica composto da Michele Frangilli, Mauro Nespoli e Marco Galiazzo si è guadagnato l’accesso alla finale per il bronzo contro la Gran Bretagna (Godfrey, Terry, Wills) che si disputerà domenica.

Nella terza prova di Coppa del Mondo ad Ogden (Usa) sono ancora in corso i match compound a squadre, mentre sono già concluse le gare del ricurvo e le eliminatorie individuali di ieri che hanno visto la compoundista Laura Longo (Arcieri Decumanus Mazimus) guadagnarsi la finale per il bronzo contro Kristina Berger (Ger). Nella giornata odierna, invece, il trio dell’Aeronautica composto da Michele Frangilli, Mauro Nespoli e Marco Galiazzo si è guadagnato l’accesso alla finale per il bronzo contro la Gran Bretagna (Godfrey, Terry, Wills) che si disputerà domenica.
